Northeast Tennessee has a wealth of health care specialists. Johnson City has the Quillen Dishner Medical School and the new Pharmacy school will be starting soon. Wellmont and MSHA both boast being listed on the top 100 heart hospitals in the nation. Mountain Home is one of the best VA medical hospitals in the country. Johnson City has a level 3 Trauma center and their 2 helicopters with their WINGS rescue unit. Johnson City also has a Ronald McDonald house to help families of children who need to come to our area for medical care.
